Our Story

Best West Eco Lodge & Leisure was founded out of a passion for protecting Curacao’s natural beauty and promoting sustainable tourism. Inspired by the Caribbean's vibrant ecology, we envisioned a lodge that minimizes its impact on the environment while maximizing comfort for guests.

To bring this vision to life, we constructed this cozy Boutique Hotel using sustainable Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) hardwood from Austria and designed it to blend in with and enhance Curacao’s coastal landscape. Since opening, BWELL has strived to provide an authentic yet eco-friendly Curacao experience that respects the land, reduces waste, and brings travelers closer to the stunning nature around them.

BWELL’s values also extend to supporting local craft, businesses and sustainable initiatives. We use products from CurAloe, a locally renowned aloe plantation, and offer eco-friendly amenities in refillable dispensers. Our commitment is to give guests an immersive experience of Curacao’s beauty while ensuring that it’s preserved for future generations.
